The bathroom cleaner did a fantastic job on the shower doors ... and on the rest of the bathroom fixtures! ... My favorites are the kitchen, stainless steel/glass, and the floor cleaners. I was so excited about the floor cleaner that I had to go buy a new mop.

I really liked the floor cleaner for my hardwoods – especially since there is no extra rinse step involved. It’s a pleasant, fresh smell that leaves the wood looking clean and polished.

I used it in my automatic floor cleaner and it does wonders.

The Green Irene floor cleaner did a great job getting up dirt from our hard wood floors. They look clean and there is no film residue -- without requiring a rinse. Equal or better than non-natural cleaners we've used. It works!

  • Do I still need to use wax on my textured kitchen ceramic tile?

Those floor tiles with lots of texture and nooks and crannies looked fabulous in the tile store but who knew they'd be so hard to keep clean! Some homeowners end up sealing the floor with wax so it would be easier to clean, but we have a better alternative. Wax is soft and dirt is easily trapped in it, it scratches easily, and it has to be stripped and replaced regularly. All you have to do is use GI's Floor Concentrate. Not only will deep craters stay clean without using a scrub brush, you don't even have to rinse it off.

  • Is the Floor Cleaner safe for stone tile?

Stone requires special care and a neutral pH cleaner, yet because some stones are porous, traditional stone cleaners have a hard time getting ground in dirt out of those crevices and pores. For porous stone, Green Irene Floor Cleaner just needs to soak for a few minutes to begin breaking down the dirt without hurting the stone yet leaving the surface deep down clean. Use of a soft bristled brush helps reach into those pores and speed up the process. Although rinsing isn't required, you may want to mop and rinse heavily soiled areas.

  • Can I use the Floor Cleaner concentrate in my automatic floor cleaner?

Yes, you can use the floor cleaner in an automatic floor cleaner - 1 oz makes 1 gallon, so you'd just have to adjust accordingly based on the appliance's capacity.

  • Is the Floor Cleaner pet safe?

Yes, the Floor Cleaner is both child and pet safe. Since the enzymes break down the organic matter back into its natural elements, it doesn’t even have to be rinsed off. There are no harsh chemicals, and it contains all natural ingredients. It's the only one of our products that has coloring (natural food safe quality), and that is simply because without it, the color is, let’s just say, less than attractive.

  • I want a wood cleaner/duster. Will the no-rinse Floor Cleaner work?

None of the Green Irene cleaning products are corrosive and if water won't damage the surface, neither will any of the Green Irene cleaners. The enzymes in the cleaners are task-specific meaning that they are designed with the dirt target in mind, not necessarily the surface material. So for example, if there are wood cabinets in the kitchen, I'd try the kitchen cleaner because the grime is most likely food related - grease, sticky handprints, etc. If we are talking about wood tables or furniture in other parts of the house, I'd suggest the floor cleaner (diluted of course from the concentrate form it is bottled in) since the rinse free floor cleaner does beautifully on wood floors.

  • Can I use the Kitchen Cleaner on Kitchen Cabinets?

Formica is usually pretty forgiving but fruit stains do pose a cleaning challenge. If the Kitchen Cleaner is used promptly after the juice stainappears, the stain is gone almost instantly. If it sets a little longer, use an abrasivesponge pad and letting it “soak” for 10 minutes or so will successfully remove even these tough stains.
